My new Seiko SRPD61 arrived on Friday. Love the teal color, but I’m not crazy about the bracelet. Thinking about swapping it out for something a little nicer. Any suggestions on comfortable bracelets? I’m not feeling a NATO strap on this one. What’s on your wrist today, Oppo?

Today and every day. It’s pretty much the only watch I own. I’ve got a couple of cheap digitals, but I prefer analog. It gains about a minute a day, but I don’t mind resetting it when I put it on. Been meaning to take it to a shop to get it adjusted, but just haven’t gotten around to it.

I’m not wearing it today, but I recently got in this Tissot Antimagnetique. It doesn’ t really radiolumunesce anymore but it still keeps great time.

I’m a bit surprised your watch hasn’t self corrected that as it broke in. Every Seiko automatic I’ve had came with a similar daily loss or gain, but after about a month or two of daily wear  they all broke in to be very accurate.

I picked this up a couple weeks ago and love the watch but the band had an issue and Seiko has awful customer service. Got the strap wet on a 100m rated watch and the leather dye bled and stained the tan strap. I got a great deal on the watch and didn’t want to get a refund. Seiko told me the warranty doesn’t cover the strap even from defect. I ended up just dyeing the strap darker and honestly like it better but will think twice about giving Seiko any more of my money.

I am unsatisfied by the color scheme i chose but the quality and comfort of the strap are very nice.

I find that Seiko cheaps out on straps to make the watch itself more affordable. Which is fine by me, as I usually swap the strap out for something I like better anyway.

From what I’ve read on Reddit the strap code bracelet los are best. Very nice color. Was seriously considering buying one when they were on sale. That dial really pops!

I should also add check out Uncle Seiko. I’m pretty sure he makes a fitted rubber strap for these new 5kxs. I’ve heard they’re really comfortable and they leave no gap.

Dang I need to join the Seiko club, looks like a lot of Oppos have one. Ended up with a Casio instead when I bought a new watch back in January.

To go with the green, maybe a brown/tan leather strap? Something like this would probably be nice:
